100,000 miles
Im about to hit 100,000 miles on my 2016 c300 4matic.. we've always done the oil changes every 5,000 miles but besides that haven't touched it much besides we changed the spark plugs when i first got it in 2019. What should i do to it now besides an oil change?

There’s a number of things I would do. I just hit my 100k maintenance (im at 92k) and did a laundry list of things as a way of celebrating paying off the car(bought in ‘16). The op should try to look into the maintenance requirements. Im pretty sure they missed some important maintenance items if they mostly did just oil changes. Changing all the fluids would probably be a good idea but definitely late on the transmission service from what I’m thinking.

If you will be keeping the car for another 100k miles better do the tranny fluid NOW (do it every 60k), coolant, differentials (front and back. If you have a 4matic the front one will be a pain to do but required if you really want to keep the car for a LONG time), check the mounts (engine and tranny), flush the brakes. GL!

Hi All,
I have a '13 C300 and it has 120K. I am planning to keep it for another year or two. Beside the regular oil change for every 5K, recently I did the trans flush, brake flush, brake pad/rotor. Anything else ? Should I worry about the water pump or subframe?
Tks in advance

I change mine every 5K as well. I feel 10K is pushing it and doing it every 5K will help the engine last longer. I also change trans fluid every 30k, brake fluid every 2yrs, air/cabin filters every 20k/2yrs, spark plugs every 45k, just did differentials at 92k. Plus non-routine maintenance/repairs.

use this or MB preferred list
Rear diff is every 50-60k
only takes 1quart
more frequent schedule help preserves the bearings from whistling

1st - congrats on the 100,000 miles
"You've never done a brake flush, transmission flush, new battery, brake pads/rotors. Nothing but oil?"
I had a 2008 CLK350 Cabrio that I traded when it hit about 110,000 miles - only traded it because I needed a car that could handle some snow
In the 5 years that I owned the car did A & B service when due and that's it. Car was always serviced at the dealer, never flushed anything, never needed brakes, Still had original battery, never had a repair!
