2014 c class coupe brake pad problem
Both rear brake pads have fallen out of caliper. Rotor is proper fit and size and so is caliper. Brake pads aren't worn and inside gap between rotor and caliper is 2mm. outside gap between caliper and rotor is about 20mm which is causing brake pads to fall out of caliper when engaged. where is this gap coming from?

they list 2 different style pads. do your have the hook ends or flat ends? I'm pretty sure all w204 are the hook style. I was sent the flat one when I ordered had to go return them to get the correct ones.

spares mixed up...
yep, this sounds exactly like it is what happened... wrong pads got installed.
It's easy to get the wrong parts and not simple to get right.... use VIN
