2011 C250
E Class to C Class

I have a 2011 C250. Have opportunity to buy some winter tires and rims. They are off a E350

Tire size is good at 225 45 17

However I am not sure about offset and lug bolt shape.

Can anyone advise if they will work?

Thank you

Chris

Without knowing which specific E-class they came off, no, nobody can answer the question. You can easily search for the wheel specs for either model - look them up and compare.

The Mod says offsets are different from C to E. The offset of the E wheels is cast into the inside one of the spokes. It’s identified by the letters ET.
The number is millimeters (mm) so small differences can often be tolerated. Any tire store should be able to tell you if it’s safe with the tire size, rim width, and wheel offset.
