Wobbly Cooling Fan - 2013 C250 Mercedes
Hello! Hoping someone can help me identify what might be the cause of why my cooling fan intermittently comes on, wobbles, makes a loud rattling noise -- then turns off. The shroud is tight but the fan itself is loose. Also: any suggestion on repair?

It sounds like the motor on the fan is going bad. Change it before it stops and cause engine to heat up.
Do a visual when it wobbles.

It looks like the bushings on the fan motor are bad. Shroud, fan, and motor are replaced as a unit. There are multiple application dependent types, so get part number off the original and replace with same or recommended replacement. Online sources are less expensive than dealers. Use sources where correct parts can be found by entering VIN.
