2008 Mercedes C250 Avantgarde Wagon JDM (RHD)
C250 RHD JDM Parts Question
Hello,
I recently purchased a RHD JDM 2008 C250 Avantgarde Wagon that requires some work. I've done a bit of googling but have been unable to find out an exact answer.
Can I use body parts/mechanical parts (shocks/struts) from the North American C300/C350 for this?
Much thanks for all the help!

What's your VIN? (You can direct message me if you'd rather.) You can also enter your VIN in www.lastvin.com and provide your model designation, like below.

Looking further in the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog), it appears that the parts are interchangeable IF you have the same configuration, e.g., sport, luxury, rough terrain, etc. You can find the code in the Description list when you put your VIN in www.lastvin.com.

I tried to put my vin in, unfortunately it requires 17 characters and the Japanese vehicles only have 16 only.
However using your example above it would be: WDD204522

I have no idea. If you look up your VIN # and find your exact sub-model you can follow this link to find your exact model. Click on it and you will see all the parts diagrams for your specific vehicle.
https://truckmall.ru/mercedes-origin.../?item=5991011
When you click on your vehicle from the link above it will take you to the exhaust system diagram, just look for your vehicle code along the header and click it, will take you to the main diagram page for your car. I dont have an easier way of linking to it.

Just tried the X in front of the 10th character and it gives an error. I've been trying to see if I can find a page for 16 digit VIN but only find 17 even when searching for JDM

First time im hearing of a 16 digit VIN so unfortunately I'm no help except for what I can find in searching around.
As far as parts i think some will be interchangeable, are the same. The thing im finding with Mercedes is there are so many different part #s listed for the same part. Example i was looking around to replace my front struts and the only place I could find the same part #s were on ebay from used ones in that same model year as mine. Mercedes has since changed the part #s for the new struts that will fit. Right now im seeing 13 different part #s for front struts that will fit my car, most of those have notes saying "Replaced by (part# xxxxx)".
Since you mention struts lets try and figure it out. Try and look for the part# on your strut, should be on a big label. Then type in that part# and see what pops up. I also know if you peel off the top label on the strut there will be another one under it from the original manufacturer with there part%. Should be from Sachs.
Heres an example.
