Need help car won't start after driving in rain
Anyways, I'm not sure if the rain has anything to do with my issue or not but thought I'd mention just in case.
So, I made a quick stop after driving for an hour or so in the rain, and when starting my car, I noticed drive assist, esp, stay in lane etc were inoperable, so I turned the car off to reset the sensors and nothing. I haven't been able to start it since. There's no power to my windows, (currently stuck down), no headlights, interior lights, seats, locks, alarm but the dash lights up when turning the key but not when opening doors.
Codes that I'm getting are:
A25464-electric steering lock
U300E00-circuit 15 on is implausible
627300-fault in EZS
430A00-signal of s9/1 brake light switch implausible
U118000-interior can unstable
U001988 int can comm malfunction bus off
U001911- int can comm short in ground
U014600 comm cgw malfunction
P261031 ECM/PCM engine off timing
I noticed that the steering wheel lock goes out on our vehicles, but would the power to my windows etc be dead as well? Thank you
* update *
I was viewing the live data and it seems that the electronic steering lock is functions as it should. This is what I'm seeing, can someone please verify that these values are correct?
Circuit 15 off
Circuit 15C on
Circuit 15r off
Circuit 15x off
Circuit. 50 off
When I insert the key 15c is in on,
key turned 1x 15r is on
2x 15x & 15 on
3x 50 on 15x off
I believe that is the correct values for a good electronic steering lock, or am I wrong?
Also, I can't get my windows up, even when connecting a jump box to the car.
What is the power source for the windows?

SAM and get under it where wiring/connectors located. You can pour some 'test" water down windshield there and confirm integrity of diaphragm. If this is the case, removal of SAM and blow dry may help. Google Search and
YouTube have DIY sites. Pretty well known problem on our W204's.
Good Luck.

Some quite rightly here would suggest a MB Star scan analysis ...if it is the SAM, a poster here paid for that info and on it installed a unit himself with success..don't remember if new..a bit pricey..or "preowned" but fixed his problem, like you multiple codes and Start issue. No pairing with car needed in this case too. I personally only had a wet ft. SAM without the electrical fireworks or lack of.
Codes not changing when rechecked or can't clear/recheck w/o car running ?

Put a multimeter on the lines and see if one or both are showing voltage values close to zero. I don't have on me the value for each Hi and Lo line in your car. In my case, e.g., on my W210 Lo sleep is 4.9 volts, Hi sleep is 0.2 volts. My Hi line was 0.01 volts with 95-ohm short to chassis. Would not allow the CAN-Lo line to drop low to 4.2 volts and the Can-Hi could not go high therefore no data transmitted.
then you start disconnecting sub-systems until the sleep voltages return to normal. Your problem will be in the disconnected subsystem. Your failure to communicate with the Central Gateway (CGW) is a huge warning sign to me. Possible CGW failure or just a shorted/open connector? Don't know.

Edit: windows are controlled by Door Control Modules which require CANBus communication to function. Internal CANBus failure, no communication to DCM to control window function.

First, I noticed that all my monitors are n/a which I suppose makes sense due to the lack of communication with the modules. Also, I have a more detailed list of what my scanner is unable to communicate with.BODY

I'm going to remove the seats today to inspect under the floor. Does anyone have a detailed diagram of the different CAN locations, and/or any advice to better assist me? My knowledge is limited but my willingness to dig in and learn is huge, so any and all suggestions will be very much appreciated.
I'll be back.
Thank you
Thank you for all the suggestions and support. I appreciate it very much

Nice to hear your MB is behaving again !!
