W204 2012 C350 engine noise

Hello everyone, My C350 I recently purchased a couple of days ago is making this ticking noise. I feel like this is not normal and is possibly a lifter tick? The noise mostly sounds like it is coming from the rear left of the engine bay, possibly the HPFP? it seems really loud though. I am currently waiting to get into My local Mercedes Dealer in two weeks as they are very busy. Not sure if I Want to drive the Car anymore.

Thanks for the help !

I hear it but cannot tell how far away from the engine you're recording from.

Have you scanned the car to check for any codes?

You may be correct about it coming from the fuel pump.

I am yet to Scan it, This Saturday I Have access to a Snap on Scanner that should be able to view all of the stored codes I hope, the vehicle has no engine lights and drives perfectly it is just very loud like a diesel.

I was recording from just in front of the timing area of the front of the engine, and slightly above the top of the engine. I was really close to the engine when I was recording this.

Thank you very much for your reply !

Sounds like an alternator pulley clutch but I am not sure this engine has one.
Release the belt and see if the noise stops.

Make sure your dip stick is seated all the way into the tube.
