C300 Tune Options
Been looking at getting a tune for my 09 c300 and have seen alot of options ranging from local shops to eurocharged, kleeman, vividracing, house of power etc. Most are all in the range of 15-20HP gains and I know that's about Max possible without headers, etc. What do you guys personally recommend or have experienced? Appreciate any feedback!
I've been leaning towards the kleeman tune for about 750$ but would l want some Input, heard you can't really go wrong with them.

My experience with the usual tune for a NA motor is that the smallish HP/TQ gains occur in the highest RPM ranges so a trip to the redline is needed to feel anything. Personally I have spent that money on near R rated tires for the street..much more fun to handle a curve at speed, at least for me.. Stuck a set of Hoosiers on a Ford XR2 which gave a WRX fits on a 2 lane. Just my 2 cents....

@sales@oetuning - I've been trying to get a hold of you concerning a problem with your tune. I've been emailing, calling, leaving voicemails and using your "contact us" section of your website. Can you please respond with a good time to talk to you? This has been going on for a while now (trying to get in touch with you) and I'd like to get this resolved as you originally said you would.

Post #6 gives a brief synopsis - but it's been a tiring ordeal trying to get the tune working correctly with multiple times sending it back to them (some of the time at my expense) to "try again". They then thought something else was wrong with my car so I offered to get it checked at a local MB specialist on my dime but everything was fine and every component was communicating properly. Truthfully, at that point, I was HOPING that the specialist would find something - even though I knew the car was/had been driving very well!
And then, when it got to the point of holding them to their word of a refund, they disappeared. I actually had a lot of really good conversations about this with them - I'm hoping they stand up.

Hmmmm, they have a different story to tell. They said you got a tune from a different vendor and wanted their help to fix a problem. Is it an OETuning tune and/or did you get it through a reseller? Regardless, not sure this is the proper place to air laundry. Not sure how you paid, but you could contest the charge to a credit card if you didn't get what you paid for.

No, I absolutely did not get it from a different vendor and I have never had a tune on this vehicle before theirs. I got it direct from them. I have email chains going way back discussing this with them. I agree about dirty laundry, but I'm only presenting facts... and the amount of times I have tried calling/emailing/contacting them through their website is rediculous. This is the first time I have at least gotten a response from them in months and months - and every contact I made was centered around "hey, I hope things are going well - please get back in touch with me so we can try and resolve this issue together". I still hope to resolve this amicably.
When trying to contact them through the forums, be sure to type @SALES@OETUNING and then click on the dropdown...

That should alert them that you have mentioned them.

Thank you, guys. I'm still hoping to resolve this without resorting to anything else. In my 51 years, I've never had to go to an extent like this - I'm hopeful that this was something that they just somehow overlooked.
I should add that things had been going great and I felt they were truly interested in trying to figure out why there was an issue with their tune and why it made the car run worse. But then it was like they just disappeared?
@SALES@OETUNING
Cool! I always wondered how to do that?
OE: As I asked above, could you please verify your email that I can use to contact you since the sales@oetuning.com was the email I had been using - but that's the one that didn't seem to work.
