C300 - 2.25 Cats to 2.5 XPipe Back to 2.25 Mufflers

So I kinda ****ed up and didn't check sizes and ordered a 2.5In Xpipe when my exhuast size is 2.25. Would this affect my car in any way having 2.25 cats to a 2.5 Xpipe back to 2.25 mufflers? Or should I just return it and get the right size.

Can you return it? I would if I were you.

I know nothing about exhausts but your question had be curious, I like learning. I came across someone mentioning air flow and velocity. They were running testing on different size x-pipes and they said they noticed if they increased the size of the x-pipe it slowed the air flow and instead of the air going to the opposite side it basically stuck along the wall of the pipe and exited down the same side. If that makes sense.

Ok thanks for the insight, I'm going to return it and get the right size. Plus it has a hole in the welds anyways. Magnaflow welds are questionable...
