Hi, pulled out this sensor from the thermostat housing in believe it was leaking from it. Now it only springs back when trying to push it in. When forced it in it pushes the thermostat open, and temp wont go over 50C. Anybody know the "fix"?
Engine: 0M651
C220 CDI

-Thanks

All right... nobody has volunteered to say:
you may need to replace the whole thermostat housing new.

Hot plastic parts tend to brake in higher mileage vehicles. Thermostat and sensors have a limited service lifespan.
