Power driver seat suddenly stopped working
Hi, my 2014 c250 driver seat has suddenly stopped working. It’s about 85% fully back position(with me being 5’5) is kind of hard to reach the pedals. My front passenger seat powered controls still work. I researched online and seen there are trim models of the same year that can have up to 3-4 fuse box locations. Checked all of them and didn’t find any blown fuses(pulling them out and inspecting , and measuring resistance with a multimeter). I never move my seat so I doubt it’s a seat motor problem. My car is always empty and clean so it couldn’t be something that got lodged underneath. I disconnected my battery to clear the ecu and no results. I tried looking underneath(front+rear angle), at the wiring cables and harnesses and they all seemed alright. I was gonna take the seat bolts out so I could lift the seat up and look at check the rail, wiring, maybe reseat wiring harnesses, but the way the drivers seat is stuck(85% back), only the front bolts are accessible, and the seat can’t be tilted, so that idea crumbled. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you !

You need to get a good Mercedes-specific scan tool, either XENTRY or a LAUNCH Creader Elite 2.0 BENZ and scan for seat codes. Check the status of the driver's seat for errors. It may need calibration.
Search mercedes c class seat fail on YouTube.

Recently someone else had an issue with the seat not moving. I believe they said they disconnected and reconnected the harnesses and it started working again. Worth a try: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...t-working.html

TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE....
you guys know what that quick-fix means, right?
Seat was sleeping on the job unable to receive commands.
CAN-B module was in the lake... soft-crashed in need of reboot!
optionally disabling com between door and seats... and R-SAM likely also!
The wonky CAN-B status is what drains batt while parked to hand-shake with Keyless, EIS....
What you really need is called a "CREADER ELITE MB scanner" to see what 40+ computers are doing or not....
