Hey all,
Been driving my late Dad's 200? E Class, 430 4matic, in Spain and was really liking it. Back home I found a 2008 C300 manual with 156K miles for $7,500 which I think is high but I like the looks and like the 6-speed. My wife has a VW Jetta manual now which is a peppy vehicle but don't like the feel of front wheel drive. Any MB manual owners out there that can give me info on what to expect from the manual? I know it's high mileage but I never pay more than $10K for a car and drive them till they croak at 200,000+.

Did Mercedes still offer a manual transmission in 2008?
I responded to your other post about getting a pre-purchase inspection. With no records you definitely want to have the transmission service by a qualified Mercedes mechanic. Brake fluid should also be changed. And lastly an oil change.
