Tempomat not working after replacing ABS modul
Hello Guys !I replaced my old ABS/ESP module, which was defective, with another module that didn't have the same part number. That didn't work and I ended up with more error codes. Physically, the module had more pressure valves than the original.
So I bought another module with the exact same part number, and MAGIC, all the codes disappeared after I changed the VIN in Xentry. Everything went back to normal and is working fine, except for the cruise control (TEMPOMAT). When I activate it while driving, the light blinks and I can't set a speed.
I asked someone to check in Vediamo and the TEMPOMAT is confirmed to be activated.
So, we can't figure out a solution to this problem.
Do you have any ideas ? i was wondering if the previous ABS module was factory installed on a distronic /HOLD assist car or something that i haven't ? That might have just made things worse ?

What is your vin #? I never heard Tempomat before and not finding that term in the manuals im looking thru. I would like to see what version of cruise control you have. I'm looking thru USA and CAN manuals so may not be the same for yours, im assuming Germany?

The official coding when you perform this operation is to update the VIN of the car. I also did all the « calibration » through Xentry.

You might live IN USA ? Tempomat is the Mercedes name for cruise control.
The car was sold in France but built in Germany factory.
