2010 C300 — Intermittent Coolant Warning + Fan Codes (Need Input)
I have a 2010 C300 (M272, 141k). Car runs great overall, but I’ve been chasing two issues:
- White Coolant Symbol on cluster - comes on intermittently while driving (even fully warmed up). Goes away on its own after a few seconds. Coolant temps are steady on the gauge around 85–95°C, never overheating.
- Cooling fan behavior - once after parking, fan stayed running for ~30 min with engine and A/C off. Eventually shut itself off after starting car. Normally it only runs with A/C on, which is correct.
- A/C symptom - when the white coolant symbol pops up on cluster, the A/C air gets warmer. As soon as fan cycles normally, A/C is cold again.
- OBD codes -
- 0694 “Fan short to ground”
- 2362 “Fan power supply malfunction”
Codes clear but return while driving.
- 0694 “Fan short to ground”
