2011 C300 (w204) - Rear Door Speakers
The other day I noticed that one of my rear door speakers is blown out so I want to first grab a pair of replacements for both rear doors, then eventually re-do the front door speakers.
I have stock speakers, nothing fancy. What would be a good replacement? I don't have an after market stereo or amp.
The only quirk with this DIY is I see that MB rivets the speakers in. Will I need a spacer? I don't have a 3D printer. What length of screws do I need?
Thank you.

I want to install a complete kick *** stereo in mine and this is just amazing. Rivet in the speakers? I guess you just have to drill out the rivets with a good high speed metal bit after punching them. Then replace with screws or bolts.
Speakers always sound better the more you can create a MDF (wood) platform and/or create a speaker "cabinet" but might not be able to do much.

Theres some in-depth threads on here of how people did it you can look thru.
If I had a speaker out I would just buy a used one and install it. I think the rear door speakers have a mid and tweeter mounted on top.
