You want them cheap. That's the price you pay.

No Euro delivery because US spec cars will be built in the US.

As much as i would like that euro delivery option it isn't going to happen and we need to get over it. Having said that the price needs to reflect US assembly ala the current Passat.

The base Passat is like ~20k. The base C is like ~35k. You think moving the location of the factory will cause ~40% decline in price? Are you insane?

If I was paying 15k just to be built in Germany I would never have gotten a MB, probably a Kia Forte.

It's not about where, it's about how.

The US built Passat was cheaper than the previous German built Passat ie a better value for US customers. The same should apply to the US built C Class. The better value may not come in the form of a lower price but better content for the same price.

I agree I hope it means that we wont have any more stripped MBs.
Give us back the folding mirrors, alarm chip, and rear seat climate control or at least make them options.

Benz margin was wafer thin on W204 in the US even after deleting features & building most in SA. Don't expect any price reduction. More likely increase. US pricing is ultra low on these cars.
