As much as i would like that euro delivery option it isn't going to happen and we need to get over it. Having said that the price needs to reflect US assembly ala the current Passat.

If I was paying 15k just to be built in Germany I would never have gotten a MB, probably a Kia Forte.

The base Passat is like ~20k. The base C is like ~35k. You think moving the location of the factory will cause ~40% decline in price? Are you insane?

I agree I hope it means that we wont have any more stripped MBs.
Give us back the folding mirrors, alarm chip, and rear seat climate control or at least make them options.

Benz margin was wafer thin on W204 in the US even after deleting features & building most in SA. Don't expect any price reduction. More likely increase. US pricing is ultra low on these cars.
