UK Dealer discount for new C?

Evening all.
Been lurking on the forum for a while now but registered to ask: has anyone had a sniff of what negotiated discounts can be had on the new C in the UK?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a new C220 BlueTec but loathed to pay full quoted price. Any ideas? Thanks all.

any success on negotiations of your own? it's all about supply and demand basically. these are so new that i'm sure there's not a lot of 'buyer's experience's' yet

That's the conversation I'm about to have. Just wondered if anyone had been there yet. The wiggle room will between MB's line and the local dealers numbers.

C220 AMG Line Premium Plus (W205)
Drivethedeal showed me 2.5k off from a 220 premimum plus AMG, OTR £37150, and £34560 after discount. Orange wheels £36,056.

I went straight to the dealer and got about a whisker under 4% off on a business lease, but was prepared to pay a bit more for early delivery (june/july).

My estimates are the dealers make about 12-16% (before after sales stuff) on the cars so about 4/5% is the most you'll probably get seeing as it's in high demand, limited supply and a brand new model.

Let us know how you get on tho!

W205 C200 (Petrol) Sport Premium Plus
In the past I've found an easy way to negotiate an equitable deal was to print off a quote from the Broadspeed and a valuation for my old car from Parkers web sites. Most UK dealers seem willing and able to use these as a basis for a deal without having to haggle much.

Broadspeed is showing discounts of around 6% for the W205 but I'd be willing to pay a little extra to avoid having to pay the brokers fee and for the convenience of buying from a local dealer.

I haven't found any feedback from W205 owners which seems a little surprising given that I believe the car has been on sale for 2 or 3 months in Germany and some other European countries. Being a cautious sort I'm trying hard to wait until I've seen some reports from real owners before pulling the trigger. When you get your car Formac please let us know your opinions of both the good and bad points.

Well he got back to me and isn't willing to offer any discount as it's "selling so well" which is annoying. Did offer a £7k on a E250 AMG Sport but that's not what I'm after.
At this rate I'll end up in a 3 Series.

Spoke to a Glasgow dealer who says the same. There isn't any discounts to be had except for a little wiggle room on the finance packages. This'll be the case until the rush on demand drops

Finally found a MB main dealer willing to discount. Two grand off a C220 Sport with Prem Plus pack. Not too bad I suppose. Will probably pull the trigger next week but probably won't get delivery until late Oct now.

C220 AMG Saloon 2014 Premium Plus Bluetec
I didn't get ANY discounts as the car is in high demand: C220 AMG-sport with Premium Plus pack. Additionally I was told that the wait could be as much as 6 months. Luckily only 6 weeks before I took delivery as the dealer got lucky with a shipment. The car he had originally ordered is still on back-order but he found the same spec with leathers and black ash-pore trim. Took delivery 2 weeks ago after ordering in first week of June. The wait for ones with Heads Up Display is longer I have been told.
