Memory problems CD player Comand W205
MB tells me I've to wait till October to get it fixed with an update of the Comand system. It seems it's a known problem but I can't get any information about it on the internet. Who else has also memory with the CD player.
Problem: Parking it for a few hours the CD starts all over again. Parking for a few minutes it plays a random number and then gets stuck.

Hard disk in the audio 20? Can you explain how? I only know I can use a memory card or USB stick (memory card slot is used for Garmin map pilot)

I don't have a new C-class so I can't say how to do it for sure, but if previous systems are any indication, there should be an option tab in the audio control when you have a CD in there. Select it and it should give the option to save to music register or something like that. Let us know how it goes.

Well I don't know if I've used the correct name, but the audio 20 is brand new. I also expected that it would work just fine, but it isn't.
I've checked the manual and it doesn't have a harddisk.
I think the new system has different features then you are used too know.

If you don't mind my asking, did they charge you separately for the maps card and activation of Nav or did that come with the car?

I have CD's and I don't want spend useless time on copying them to a hard disk, when my car has a CD player...
And...
As You can read before, my W205 C Class don't have a internal hard drive...

Yes people read this threat for information, the correct information; no internal hard disk and memory problems with the CD player. And a workaround is not a solution! <br />
My response on you has this tone of voice, because you always seems to mention your test drive in the c300/c400 in almost every post you make (sarcastic) I understand you are proud on becoming an MB driver, but you can overdue.
