Maybe I can help you guys. I got a new Mercedes c with full options so if someone has any questions I can make a responde video for that specific question. Here is the link. Let me know in the description below.
After driving my lovely C200 for the first 4 months without any issues my car had to be towed to the dealer today. It was a very cold morning here in western Finland, minus 25 degrees Celsius. Car started without any problems but after driving about 1 km the engine started running very rough and the engine warning light came on. I turned the car off and back on a few times and the problem reappeared every time. I drove to my work and the engine continued to run with lots of vibrations and all the performance was gone. After a few hours I tried once more, but engine was still running rough.
My dealer wanted the car to be towed to avoid any damage to the engine. MB Roadside Assistance arranged for towing and brought a replacement car to my work and their service was really good. The bad thing is my dealer probably won’t have time to have a look at my car in the next few days so I’m stuck driving a Ford Mondeo over the weekend

Wheel Alignment
I've got less than 7K miles on my C400; which I purchased 12 months ago. My front tires are bald on the outside and I've had the wheels aligned since noticing the abnormal wear. The service rep said these cars get out of alignment very easily and would not cover under warranty (not surprised). She blamed it on the scuffs on my wheels.
Other than that this car has been rock solid. No rattles or malfunctions. I do wish the tranny would shift more like the C63s though.

…After a long discussion and I agreed to take the car back and test drive it myself as I have no long trips planned in near future. They had measured compression ratios and other parameters and were 100 percent sure the engine itself was fine. They also said it would be safe to drive the car to the closest MB service with only 3 cylinders as the only part in danger would be the spark plug. I’m almost certain the problem had something to do with very cold weather and it seems like we will hit even lower temperatures on Monday next week so let's see if something happens then.
I have to say I’m not pleased to drive a new premium car which might or might not fail again. I was also disappointed in how long it took for my dealer even to start working with my car and they didn’t keep me at all informed about what was going on and I was getting really pissed off. I’m going to ask for an explantion on those things. The chief technician I spoke today on the other hand was very supportive and professional so my faith wasn't completely ruined.

I don't believe the problem is caused by the cold weather alone. This winter, I've already had my C300 out in -25 C temperatures several times with no issues at all. Last winter, my C300 was driven in temperatures as cold as -31 C and it ran fine. The cold may be a factor, but something else is going on.
I finally got my car back today after a week at the dealer. According to engine diagnostics there had been ignition failures on cylinder nr 2. They switched some of the components between cylinders, test drove the car for more than 100 kms and couldn’t duplicate the problem. As they were unable to find out the reason for the failure, it migth reappear sooner or later. If it happens again they will easily know what caused it according to which cylinder fails thanks to the gross switched components.

With a good dealer, this should get sorted out properly and you can get back to enjoying your car rather than worrying about it. Good luck.
Sorry I was right but, if nothing else, these are very good cold weather cars. With good snow tires, the 4Matic is excellent in snow and ice, the heater works well and quickly, the defrosters are effective, and the car always starts right up regardless of how cold it is.

It seems it was a very simple problem but took unnecessarily long to fix. When I went to the dealer to today they first said they could only schedule my car for Thursday next week (6 days from now). I said that’s not even close to acceptable and contacted the service manager to whom I already yesterday sent an e-mail about the long delay. He was apologetic and made sure they read the engine diagnostics right away.

I have had the car for nearly three weeks now C450 2016.. this morning, the command screen wouldn't come on at all. This has the upgraded multi-media command with the 8" screen. Nothing on the screen, audio worked and could be adjusted in the drivers menu screen.
Didn't know the Eject button trick (is this a documented trick?) but no button presses, holds did anything. Drove to work..
At worked, parked it and turned it off for a few minutes. Restart and all was back to normal - but still - a bit concerned. There are 'some' who must have the navigation to get anywhere. Is this a documented problem by others?

Just to keep thread going. Have a demo I bought nine months ago. C 200 w205 first reg sept 2014. Boot light never worked and still doesn't. Touchpad didn't work when I got the car but since fixed with software reload. Two recalls. In first two months. Raised steering wheel while waiting at lights and whole dashboard lit up like a xmas tree in us command centre during defcon four. Two hates. Not being able to turn off voice on satnav. Turnoff not turn down. Secondly, I have a Garmin satnav unit and it's brilliant. Really really seriously good. But the mb Garmin software is like its brain damaged younger brother who's really pissed. I could prattle on about but I won't. All that said, it's a lovely car to drive and as agile as anything I've ever driven. Cheers

Howdy folks, thought I'd just chime in from the other side to say hi also!
After nearly 18 months, and 18,000kms, I have to report that our C250 (German built) has been almost flawless, as you'd expect!
We are very happy with it. Comfortable, sporty, safe, and a great all round vehicle.
Would buy another one in a heartbeat. Tempted to swap it for a new GLC250 but we'll just sit back for a bit longer and see how things pan out
As always happy & safe motoring fellow Benz lovers

Same experience here
Same experience here, perfect car and so happy that I didn't buy the cheap CLA made in Hungary. People can tell any story they want, but I still prefer that my Benz are made in Germany.

C300 #1: 8/14 build. Numerous issues including sagging sunroof shades, defective tires, steering recall, emissions recall, improperly fit fuel filler door, Keyless Go problems, rear bumper fit issues, dead door handle LED's, MB-Tex bleeding problem/seat cover replacement, improper alignment, rough shifting transmission. Trade assist was offered and accepted.
C300 #2: 3/15 build. Car is now one year old with 11,000 miles on it. Total service has been a Keyless Go software update, a fuel filler vent replacement to prevent shut-offs at the gas pump while filling, and a wiper blade replacement. This car has been rock solid.

I was in another city when all the dash lights lit up and the temp gauge was almost at the top. I slowed down and put it in eco mode and the temp dropped enough for it to driven to a dealership that luckily was about a mile away. They took the car in and had me in a loaner within an hour. Props to the dealership on Mavis Road in Mississauga for their expedient way of handling this. I got my car back the next day.

Where was your W205 made?
Are you saying that your W205 was made in Germany or that you would prefer that your Benzs were made in Germany? (Do you know that the wrist pin issue affected engines made in Germany? It was a Mercedes design issue.) If your W205 was actually made in Germany, in what country do you live?
