360 degree camera coming anytime soon?
I know this topic has been touched on in https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...er-anyone.html but just wondering if anybody has any real accurate information about why the 360 degree camera is not available at the moment, even though it's clearly able to be chosen in the C-Class configurator on MB's German website?
This is a deal breaker for us as we really want it so we've told our dealer to put our order on hold for the moment until we can get some more information. In typical MB fashion the Australian head office just said "not available" without any further explanation.
Are there issues with software, or interference problems between it & sat nav, or are there component supply issues?

Not sure about Australia but in the USA we typically get discontented cars/striped down cars. MBUSA limits what options are offered in the US so often times we get cars that are missing features that are available everywhere else, including Canada. From your experience do you see MB Australia doing this in the past where certain cars are missing options that other places have? If there's a precedent of that, that could be a possibility. But if there is no history of that, it would likely be something else.

Take my ML for example. In Australia features like Airmatic, Active Curve System, LED Intellegent Lighting, Keyless GO, Driver Assistance Package Plus amongst many others are all standard here, whereas they're extra options in the USA and parts of Europe.
This 360 degree camera is in C-Class brochure. I hope they get the issue, whatever it is, sorted very soon!

That's so strange. Just took delivery not too long ago of a custom build C300 2016 W205 with 360 camera, but it was in the "Park Assist" package...

Probably the one option I cared the least about when I ordered but that I use the most. My favorite was when my wife saw it and stuck her hand out her window, and wondered why it wasn't showing up on the screen. Chicks.
