Traded in my 14 c250 and couldn't be happier! I work at the dealership and it was killing me to drive the new ones all the time and get in my "old one".
Finally got around to uploading some pics. Here is My15 C300 sharing space with My15 Genesis.

Got to admit, the black has become one of my favorites in all the photos I've seen. The way the reflections just wrap around that body are simply gorgeous when its a dark color.

I agree. My OCD would never allow me to buy a black car but I sure do appreciate their beauty.
I see you photoshopped your plate number. Good idea and a good example to others.
Nice looking car too! I don't see many Luxury trims (US designation) in these pages. I expect my new C300 Luxury model in Iridium Silver to look much like this. Shade gives a bluish light, so it is hard to tell if your MB is Iridium Silver or Diamond Silver.
Why? I never understood this. Are car thieves waiting for plate numbers so they can track down car owners and steal their cars?
Not sure about other countries, but in the UK there's a lot of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems. Thieves aren't necessarily after your car but its identify.
They find the plates of a car that looks identical to theirs, clone your plates and do things like fill up fuel and drive off, drive around running up speeding tickets, automated tolls and into congestion charging zones.
Worst case scenario is they used your plates on a getaway vehicle for a crime.
Obviously, there's nothing you can do to stop them driving around your neighbourhood in person and taking note of your plates, but blanking out plates on an internet forum means they can't do it from the comfort of their sofa.

But our cars are out in the open every single day with their license plates in clear view. If our license plate numbers gave such sensitive information wouldn't it be a big problem every day every time we park in a parking lot?

As per the last sentence of my previous post.
Same reason I guess Google Street view does it (along with privacy)?
