multimedia vs No multimedia pcg / Sport vs Luxury
Ok second questions is Luxury vs Sport package.. is it just a drive feel? I don't think I'm gonna race, infact I like smooth ride I think.. (getting old I'm 42) Could anyone say NO NOO YOU HAVE TO GET SPORT PKG BECAUSEEEE...you know what I'm saying? infact, looking at the pictures luxury package is not making much different from the base model either.

Thanks for the input.
There are three variations of the basic car; the standard, Sport, and Luxury. The sport adds different front and rear fascias, sits 10mm lower, has a different standard wheel style, a flat bottomed steering wheel, sport seats, a stiffer suspension, and different interior trim with the open grained black ash wood trim. The Luxury package adds the classic MB grill, different style wheels, and a more softly tuned suspension.
Your choice depends on many factors, such as local road conditions and personal taste. I went with the standard configuration simply because many of my local roads are punishing. If you want a firmer ride, the sport makes sense. More of a luxury ride, and the Luxury package would be the way to go. Try all three and order what fits you best.

I didn't go with the ventilated seats, but I live in a colder climate so that's never really been a need for me. I also didn't opt for leather, since I personally find the MB-Tex just fine. (Except for the non-leather smell.)
The MB site has a good build function that will go through all the packages and options. I spent a lot of time with it before deciding on which items I wanted ... or didn't want.

It's quite a bit more money, so if one stays in Comfort most of the time, the steel suspension from Luxury ought to be quite satisfactory, no?

The comfort suspension feels different than the air on comfort mode in isolation and the drive. There's plenty of inventory on lots to try out for yourself, though hard to find dealer with air and all 3 steel suspensions to try back to back. And tire sizes play into it well...air/steel plus 19" sends a thud on potholes.
If The option was free and fear of future maintence squelched, I'd say VERY few who tried all 4 wouldn't jump on the airmatic in the C and pick the exterior which suits them.

Also, I added Navi to the Audio 20 with the Garmin Map Pilot SD Card -- and it works great with all voice commands for the navi integrated.
So, IMO, unless you want the hard-drive for music, there's no real need for multimedia package.

I have purchased and use the News app and stocks (for Audio 20) and they work fine tethered; but I miss the fun apps like google local search, Facebook etc).....
I'd say that if you're extra fussy about the elegant implementation of a screen, then sure, the thousands are worth it, but nowadays with iPad-wannabe screens haphazardly and clunkily looking like they're "taped" onto a dash, propping a Smartphone up somewhere next to it using an elegant cradle isn't really taking away from anything. As well, you need to put that growing (as they keep getting bigger) phone somewhere, and frankly an elegant cradle is better and safer (as safe as the central screen if positioned wisely) than the cupholders or passenger seat. You can also stream the turn-by-turn directions via Bluetooth, so really you're not giving up much, at all, certainly not thousands worth.
On my next car, I'm skipping nav, I think in several years from now, in-car Nav will be useless unless it's finally tethered to an Apple, Google, etc. solution from your smartphone, with the most premium option being Apple Carplay.

The only other point I'll make is that while the screen does seem "taped" on, it's not very intrusive or bothersome once you're in the car. It doesn't interfere with my sight lines, so while not as elegant as other builds, it isn't a deal breaker.

I wanted COMAND with navigation and opted for the Multimedia package. For me it was simply a matter of the convenience of having the built-in system. I have Garmin units and an iPhone, but it's still easier using that built-in system. It's simply personal preference ... just get whatever you like best.
That said, I don't think that the onboard COMAND would have a better voice interpretation than the Google services, so you'd have to intervene there too.
