Loving my C400 so far. The biggest issue I have is that the exhaust note just isn't loud enough for me. Has anybody heard of any aftermarket exhausts available yet? Anybody else considering a new exhaust?

yeah, this is the first upgrade I'd like. Done some research, it appears nothing is available right now.

Interesting...while I did put an exhaust system on my vett..I can't imagine doing that on a sedan. You don't mean like "muscle" car sound with popping and gurgling on decel do you??

This is the first aftermarket exhaust I've seen. Anyone familiar with this vendor?

Seems pretty reputable to me, from what I've read.
But would like to know what it sounds like before taking the plunge, I do like the fact they have the electronic valves though.

But says we would have to use the OE exhaust tips, I have no idea if this affects how it will sound or not though.

Hoping someone can provide more info...

Well thats a good start. I've looked up some C350 videos on youtube with this brand exhaust and it seems to be a decent brand. I'm anxious to hear what a eisenman exhaust will sound like. That's the brand that makes the exhausts for mercedes AMG models i believe (Real AMG, not the upgrade). Even idling these exhausts have a deep rumble.

Can someone explain what the electronic valves do?

You can open and close the valves inside the exhaust pipes, kinda like turning the resonator on and off, using a key fob or switch, basically you can have straight pipes with a push of a button, then "close it" to keep it quiet

yeah, I'm seriously considering ordering this. I'm wanting to know if it has a high flow cat. I think I'm going to call them later today and ask some specific questions.

Guys wanted to revisit this topic for a bit, specifically in ref to the GTHUAS exhaust. Spoke to a technician over there and they are still 8 weeks out from production. It IS a bolt-on system and does NOT replace the Cat. I also spoke to the lead tech at MB, and he said if there is no welding (which this one does not require) and doesn't' replace the cat, your warranty would not be affected. He also knew of this exact system and stated it was a good manufacturer.

So, I put a down payment to get on the wait list. looks like I'm waiting a couple months.

Just my two cents.

That's great to hear. I'm really excited to hear what your exhaust is going to sound like. Are you getting the electronic valves? I think you can get this exhaust with or without.

Hey guys, we have installed quite a few of the GT Haus systems on Mercedes Benz vehicles. We are very happy with the fitment and quality from the systems. We have not had any experience installing any on the new 205 chassis yet, but I am sure from the many versions we have gotten our hands on, the quality will be top notch just like the systems we have installed.

See below for an example of a GT Haus Meisterschaft system we installed on a 204 Chassis.

I would be glad to assist you with your purchase of this system. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concern as well as special pricing
