2018 E300 4Matic.
My C300 came with 225/50x17 RunFlat tires. Door Sticker specifies 39 lb front and 45 lb rear. I've just fitted it with regular Michelin X-Ice xi3 snow tires.
What tire pressure should I use with these tires?

I would recommend 35 labs. Seems to be the most common presure nowadays for general use. Use the same front and rear. On thebregular tires pressures are different mainly because the tires themselves are different. At least I would start there to see how it goes. You cab also call tire rack and check with them.

Standard load tires achieve their maximum load capability at about 35 PSI. Pressures above 35 PSI in standard load tires will not increase load carrying capability. Extra load tires and standard load tires of the same size and pressure can carry the same load. Extra load tires are built stronger and can be inflated to higher pressures and thus support more weight. Here is link that explains this pretty well. Tire Rack also has some excellent information on tire pressures and how they relate to speed rating and load carrying capability.

BTW never swap tires only!!!!!!!
Tires are not meant to be dismounted once they go on a rim, the next place should be the dump. Mounting and dismounting repeatedly greatly increases the chance of damaging the tires bead or chaffer. BTW the damage my not be visible leading you to possible (though rare) catastrophic tire failure. If you are going to use winter tires always have them on a spare set of rims. Much safer and much easier

I'm an automotive engineer and have been swapping Pirelli soto zeros off/on rims for years with no issues.
