Highest rated v rated all seasons in consumer reports
Check tire rack too, their ratings tend to be almost identical

On this chassis one should seriously consider Michelin P/S3 A/S if you value Benz efforts at making this a quiet car. Tirerack is a wonderful resource but tires behave differently on different chassis so the findings on a Renault XYZ will be different to the findings on a Benz XYZ. Elastomer hardness selection in bushes et al all effects noise transmission into the cabin.

Since we're talking about Consumer Reports, I think the Michelin PS3 is their top-rated all-season tire. It's what I plan to get for my next set of tires (which will be occurring relatively soon).

PS3 is a summer tire. Their top summer rubber is the pilot super sport. The ps3 is simply the Mercedes OEM for the c63. They cost 300 each but still perform less well than the much cheaper super sport . OEM tires tend to perform less well and be a lot more expensive since they are a boutique offering on high performance cars. Their top all season is the pilot mxm4 or pilot AS3

WOW that is actually a very good review by CR. They went over the car like the European magazines do, they didn't miss a thing. There is hope for Consumer Reports after all.

The PS3 A/S like the PS2 & PS3 is a nice quiet tyre on the C Class Chassis. Starts quiet & stays quiet. Michelin understands control of harmonics & air pumping noise better than most.

Conti Sport Contact 2 & 3 are probably the noisiest tyre on this chassis. DWS is reasonable.

Yes, I meant the AS3. Thanks for the correction. =)

So, just so I'm clear, the run-flats make you feel the road more? I am really displeased with the stock run-flats and how I feel all the pot holes. really would like to switch to an all-season. Would I still get the same result if I changed from the stock run-flats to something like the Pirelli P7s?

Thanks,

Do you have the Luxury version and/or Airmatic?
