resale value for 2015 C400
I am seriously considering trade my 2014 GS350 F sport to 2015 C400.
My local dealer offered my invoice price - 2000 incentives, which will be around 49900.
However, I am concerning the resale value of C400 compared to BMW 435 or X3.
Which one do you guys think will hold the value better??
Thanks!!

Having driven the GS350 awd, I can assure you that handling-wise the C is all over the GS. I didn't drive the F sport which is RWD. The C pretty much own the GS in every other category too. Resale value should be comparable, but the Lexus is probably a little stronger. One thing to keep in mind, the more expensive the C gets the lower percentage of retained value. Personally resale value would be the last thing on my mind between these 2 cars, take one out for a test drive and you will see what I mean. As far as the driving experience is concerned they are day and night.
My point exactly. Your are already paying a little more over Lexus for a better driving experience. Is 1k difference in value over 5 years going to make a difference?

Where are you getting your data from? KBB estimates that C250 and 328i will have roughly equal amounts of depreciation over 5 yrs....
Also not sure how offering cheaper lease deals over the lifetime of a car is "screwing" someone over. Is there a mainstream car manufacturer that DOESN'T do this?

I have to buy cars for the business but for the average Joe, I would never suggest buying a low end MB. Always lease.
