1TB drive in c400 works
I bought a seagte 1TB drive from best buy for $65. I reformatted it to fat32 and put 227GB on it in mp3's and the car didn't recognize it.
i read somewhere that a guy got a 500gb drive to work using 4 folders. a-f , g-l, etc etc.
i moved everything into 4 folders and plugged the drive back in and it worked. only 1 folder showed up at first. and slowly all the folders began to propagate on the screen. now i can see all 227GB on 1 partition FAT32.
just in case anyone wanted to do this.

The other side of the question is do you own every recorded song ever made by man?

lol. thanks but i'm a phish fan so i want to have all shows ever on my drive. there's about 1500 or so shows at 20 songs + per show is over 30,000 songs right there. and that's only 1 band and not including albums.

It'll actually read NTFS as well...I learned it worked when I did my test drive over the summer...now to figure out how to get the videos to play outside of park mode!!
