iPhone 6 Internet / Data Sharing
I'm hoping someone can share their experience / success with tethering the internet connection from the iPhone 6. I'm in Canada and I just picked up my Iridium Silver C400 and loving it. Only issue is I cant seem to get the internet to work on the vehicle. Phone/hands free works with no issues, and mobile Hot spot is switched on in the phone. My phone is capable of tethering as I shared its connection with several other devices before. All I get is Data connection temporarily unavailable.
I am able to get my iPhone 5c to share its connection with the car, but that's not really the phone I want to use.

Works for me, but i had to turn the personal hotspot feature on iOS 'on' (even if the car is not connecting to it over WiFi ...) and tell my w205 to use the iPhone for Internet connection (Internet, options on my audio 20 system).

Unfortunately still no go. I erased all the profiles on the car, and deleted the profile on the phone. I factory reset the phone. On the 'Details' Menu in Command, I see that it says 'connecting' then 'disconnecting' and I can see its trying, as the iPhone 6 drops the wifi and switches to 3G, but no data connection (blue band on top of the phone). The iPhone 5c works. so I will put another sim card in the iPhone 6 and see if its a sim/carrier related issue; although the iPhone 6 readily tethers with other devices with no issues.

Does connecting the Command to your iPhone via hotspot, allow you to get 4G speed when using the Command apps, such as Internet radio, Traffic cams, etc? I didn't think 4G was possible in the US yet??

Its definitely faster on LTE than 3G, I notice it more in the maps. But I think the Bluetooth tether is slowing down the max potential of the LTE. My data connection on the phone is 55 mb/s and I don't think thats what MB APPS are seeing.

(That may have happened as part of the sim replacement process?)
Anyway, glad to see it is working for you now!
