Which colour?
So I've decided on the interior, plus the mega tech spec. Colour is still up in the air. I think I'd prefer a colour, all my recent cars being silver, black etc. So the brilliant blue, as used in most of the promotional material. However I find myself looking at the white as a cost saving and as something you could wrap elements and it stands out the most. I also find myself looking at the mid grey (palladium) which IMHO looks quite classy in the estate version of the car.
Blue is still my first choice, but what do you guys think about the colours? Bear in mind, the interior I want is the grey leather with the matte black ash wood.

A nice thought, I took a look online, its not for me, too light. Silver with a tinge of blue. I'm not a silver (had loads) fan, hence thinking white, mid grey/dark and blue... I think its going to be the blue in the end...

I was looking at the same colors as you but I picked white because I think it will stand up to time; as much as I love the blue, it may get tired in time as I like to keep my car for a long time if it's working properly. My last MB is 14 years with over 300K mi on it.

Thats an interesting perspective. In the UK I see nothing but white cars (new) as its a no cost option and we're just emerging from a recession. I think white is quite a fashionable colour.

Diamond Silver, used in adverts in UK & Germany so the marketing boys usually know there job in choosing a colour to suit car.

Nice.
I've now also seen the hyacinth red in the pictures thread and that colour really pops! Stuck now between the blue and the red. I want the light grey leather interior with the matte ash wood so I think that would go better with the blue exterior. The red though, I can't take my eyes off it now.

Oh, and I've got the black ash wood inside, and that's vastly better than the piano black.

I don't mind the black leather, but I think all the interior being black will make it a bit dark/gloomy. So hence the grey leather, plus panoramic roof should lighten up the interior nicely.

I don't like red interiors, I feel like I'm sat in a Vulva. Especially when the car paint is white.

Striking choice of colour . I'm wondering if I'll be that brave when I order...

Haha, fair point. I think different tastes for different people which is why we have the option to choose. All my previous cars have been black on the inside and a little gloomy like you mentioned. I quite like red. I think the grey will stain too easily for my use so red it is for me.

I think it will be the blue in the end. I've checked out lots of pictures online of both colours and the blue stands out all the time, despite different screens and taking into consideration cameras will be different etc. The red looks great in the sun but looks a bit on the burgundy side in some shots. Plus the red hides the rear lamp clusters a bit where the blue makes them stand out as a feature.
Still not 100% but I'm swinging back to blue. As I'm not able to see either in the flesh, its causing some trepidation.

Good point about the red blending into the lights. Vic's estate is a really nice colour too.
Are you worried about resale value or does that not enter the equation?
