Also you will like to lower you car with lowering springs as the w205 is really high and it looks way better when you use the Ebach lowering springs :-)

I agree it looks better lowered, reason for me waiting for the car is it will have airmatic, lowering links from Germany, looks awesome, lowering at will .

I'v finally installed the front grille on my S205! it looks amazing. Totally a different car!
I had to bring it to a garage cause the removal of the front bumper is quite complex.

I think it looks different, rather than better or worse. I'd like to see a before and after from a few different angles before I went to the trouble if the new one was preferable to me.

That is my color as well, thanks for posting I have 4 more weeks to wait. Do you mind taking more pictures, is the bonnet/hood not closed properly? it looks like there are gaps, I agree with you - it looks very sharp.

What a sharp eye! indeed it was the first thing I noticed when picked up my car. At the beginning I was afraid they didn't properly mount the front bumper. But at the end the hood was not well closed.


I attach some more pictures but I didn't have time to take more and from different angles.


but honestly, it's much more better to see it in real than on a picture. the diamond grill is wonderful. Actually it looks like the CLA.

Thanks for the pics, and it looks incredibly sharp, and the grill compliments the palladium quite nicely, almost as if color matched. Congratulations! can't wait to install mine and enjoy it in person.

I think that the grill looks beautiful, but I think that I am going to wait for the official grill to be released. how's the quality of the grill? is it too weak and too plasticy or is it durable?

I wouldnt fit that chinese toy, sure it is not that hard to fit but it would suck if the chrome fell off in two months time and youd have to do it again..

Sorry but I have to disagree with you Vic. I have a CLA-250 sport with the MB diamond grill from factory. I compared it side by side with the one I got for the C300 and they are very much on par quality wise, time will tell, but honestly - I would have agreed if it were the other way around.

yes, only time will tell us it is worth. But I've compared the Chinese one with the original one removed and the plastic quality is very similar. Hard to see a real difference.
the garage took about one hour to install it.

Dont see how you can compare quality by just looking at new parts, as you say only time will tell.
I would never fit something like that on my vehicle.

Wondering if the star fitting is the same for models with Distronic. Star is covered and the black part is not see-through.

Its nice to see it on the estate/wagon... its made me decide its not for me, I think I prefer the OEM twin bar grille as the diamond/after market grille makes the nose of the car look big to me. Just my own preference of course.
