Talking C450 diamond sports grill

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diamond-grill-grille-front-grill-for-Mercedes-Benz-W205-new-C-class-c250-300-400-/161591741054?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item259f9e4a7e&vxp=mtr
There is one left according to this guy, I already bought one, for $200, including shipping, not much to loose, it looks like my CLA's diamond grill. It is not OEM, but looks good quality, I will take pictures close up when I get it. I can't wait to see it on my Palladium C300 (delivery in march).

TBH I'm not sure I like it as much as the stock twin bar grill.

Right, stated you will need to use the original. It's easy, my CLA just twist off (counter clockwise).

Yeah, I am keeping my twin blade, but I am partial to the diamond grill, I love it on my CLA.

The diamond grill looks good but I dont like how the diamonds doesnt match any other design elements on the car,
the C63 AMG grill on the other hand is a beuty, single fin with the traditional black mesh surrounding, still do not know if it will fit though ..

Yes, even if it's a spare, $200 + free shipping, it's a no brainer for me.

beautiful, but I would feel dirty putting that on my C300 RWD, even after mods from burger and running 100 octane, it would only compare to c450. Burger expects < 5 sec 0-60, makes sense since it feels more agile (i4 vs v6) weight diff.

No, sorry for bad translation, I am waiting as many of you "March" ?...

What I meant to say, is that with the tuning to sub 5 sec to 60, it will merit the c450 grill, but not the C63, I think the most we can get from the c300 would be close to ~4.x with race fuel (100 octane).

I'm thinking of getting the C63 grille when it's available and plasti-dipping the amg badge black to hide it since I don't think it would be removable.

Yup the amg is removable

Two screws... You won't see the holes it leaves as they are deep in there but you could use black epoxy to fill

I know this because I installed that amg badge on my e63S that did not come with that badge from the factory

Even better, good to know. I didn't think it was removable based on a model I saw at a recent car show.. don't remember it was the E or CLS AMG.

The seller is increasing the price to 239, I guess there is demand for it. Glad I saved the 40 bucks got it early, already on it's way;
