durability is just like OEM, my CLA is OEM. I am very detail oriented and took a very close look at my grill, no chips, fading or anything that I notice different than my CLA.
My advice, if you like the look get it as an affordable accessory, keep your original one and if you really must have OEM, you can use it as a spare. For me the look compliments the C design and I wanted it right away, cost was minimal ($200).

W205 UK C300 hybrid
Black gloss or chrome?
Hi guys,
I am about to buy ones of these ... It's for a brilliant blue saloon ...
Do you think the one with the black gloss surround or grey\chrome will go best.
I can't make my mind up .... So any opinions gratefully received.

Thanks! The blue is a rarity in the UK as only available on hybrids in saloon and some estates so it will be great to see what yours looks like with the diamond grill

Would all these grilles fit the C200 (AMG line) even though it's not explicitly stated in the compatibility list? My understanding is that the body is exactly the same as the C250. Not sure about the US models..

i just installed the diamond grill on my C300.
it took me and a friend about 3 hours to do. The hardest part for us was mounting the new grill into the bumper. Its a tight fit.
here are some tips for others who may attempt the install:
- jack up the car to remove 2 10mm bolts to the side of intercooler and the 7 ~9 8mm bolts holding the black pan
- not necessary but i removed the wheels to apply the caliper stickers and it made removing the 4 plastic rivets and 2 10mm bolts under the wheel area alot easier.
* i had jackstands but friend didnt want to use them so i told him all the under car stuff was his

Thanks for the part numbers dear vic viper.
I've got 2 questions for you,
1)what is the difference between the central beams in particular? (is there any visual you can show?)
2)is it only valid only for AMG lines?
Thanks!

Not sure I follow you here, there are two central beam numbers listed, the only difference being the color, A20588805609040 is high gloss black and A20588805609982 is flat silver.
Also if you have 360 camera the central beam and main housing are different, but I dont have those part numbers available.
This grille as well as the chinese replicas fit all W205.s with a central star, it will not work on lux models.

Anyone buy the grille recently and what are your thoughts? eBay seller is selling for 187.XX now.
Also how about those who've had it on their cars for about 6+ plus now? Any thoughts on quality and how its holding up?
And Happy New Year!
