can the driver's powered head rest be removed?

I am ordering sheepskin seat covers for my new '15 C300 and I am concerned that I will not be able to remove the powered head rest on the driver's seat to install the sheepskin seat back cover.

Any thoughts or better knowledge of this subject is highly appreciated in advance...

Thx

Chris

Don't think many if any are covering their seats or wanting to cover their seats. I personally feel it ruins the look of the interior - cheapens it - covers are more of an 80's thing and rarely seen as accessories on new cars. But to each their own.
Also, not sure how would function with heated seats - Ahhhh! Nothing like the scent of burning fur on a brisk wintery morning!

Regardless,
Here's a vid of the removal on a W204. Assume may be similar.

But please reconsider!

Bad enough we have bleeding seats with MB-Tex. With sheepskin, do we now have to deal with bleating seats as well?

At least it's not the plastic some people used on their sofas back in the 70's!!!

Stan, you are on a roll, LOL. On an earlier thread that I read you were advising us to not worry, but "leaf" happy, now you are making us apprehensive about the possibility of "bleating" seats! You're cracking me up.
