Delivery Times?
Hi All,

Does anyone know how long it takes get the car from the factory in South Africa to the dealers in the UK once it built?

My car was built and put on the ship and left on the 23/2/15 with a ETA of 25/3/15 to the dealers. Seem quite long delivery times to me.

Can be a couple of weeks before ETA dealers but depends on unknown factors

Just had a update. My car will be arriving in Belguim tomorrow and from there will get on another ship to UK. Dealers thinks should be about another 10days.

My car is made 12.2 and since 23.2 on the ship Galveston, is it the same? ) Should arrive in mid April.. Its C250 petrol sedan

Dealer told me 45 days to get since boarding on boat..

Given up on a S205 and ordered a S212
I left 10% deposit two months back, and MB still cannot process the actual order, lest give a build time!

Factory order i was quoted was if 5 months waiting. But i was lucky enough to find a car that was the right spec and colour that the dealer already had on order.

I wouldn't complain about delivery time. I ordered my 2013 C (East London build) in February of 2013. It didn't come into the (US) dealership until June of 2013.

Wow 5 mths!

I just did a factory order on Feb 5 & was given a delivery date of May 15.

And I thought that was a LONG wait.
