The Palladium Grey is now also missing from the build configurator. Heading to the dealer this weekend to order. Sure hope they aren't scaling back color choices!
Very often manufacturers will change out a color or a few for new model years. I'm wondering if this is a run-out of the color to be replaced by something else for next model year.
My replacement Palladium is scheduled to be built in a few weeks, I'm hoping since the order has been in for a while, I'll have no issues.
Christ, thank god I decided not to take the weekend to think about it and changed my order Thursday. Otherwise I might be SOL and stuck with the Polar White.

Yes, my order was placed about a month ago and my first choice was Palladium. The dealer called me a day later to say it's off the order list. What's more, while I seldom like wood in a car, I had spec'd the open pore black wood and that is off the list too!! I ended up doing Cardinal red exterior, black leather and carbon fiber. Made the dealer split 50% of the upgrade cost with me since they discontinued my first choices.

It looks like steel gray, and palladium are both gone from the MBUSA config site.
Both are taken off June builds, early May build were the final days. Order has to be in before end of Mar. Most remaining allocation went to Black and White going forward because those have higher chances of moving on dealer lots while factory retools for C43 over the summer.
If brilliant blue becomes an option for the USA spec c43 sedan it will destroy me. I have reconciled with the idea that my car wont have AMG door sills or badges. I am ok with the fact that my car will have 7 gears instead of 9. Mercedes finally releasing a modern blue paint color will be the reason my (soon to be delivered) c450, mysteriously gets stolen/catches fire/used in the act of a crime...

***** my build is late May, I wonder if MB is going to reach back out to my dealer to tell him I can't make the change.
The brown seats look rich as all hell, but man do they pin you down on the other colors and finishes. I ended up ordering a car (a 300) and it was more painless than I thought. My dealer intercepted a car scheduled for production two weeks out. It was allocated as inventory to another dealer, but they just made a call and traded an allotment to them. Less than 60 days later, there she was, exactly what I wanted.
Now let me throw in a wrinkle. Crystal Grey Nappa, with Black Ash. The grain variations in Black Ash "read" as gray tones, which aren't real evident unless they have the Crystal (white) door inserts and seats for contrast. This is my interior:
Picture that but with the Nappa.
I choose that configuration in my C450 break, and i like it!
There is an almost perverse amount of eye candy in a W205 interior. They really out did themselves. My old 2010 W221 interior looked like a Hyundai compared to the 205. Sometimes I just go in the garage and sit in it, because it's one of the nicest rooms in the house.
I wouldn't be surprised if Palladium was replaced with Selenite grey like on the AMG GT. Selenite is a tone darker but still no where as dark as Steel grey.
In addition to the 9G, the C43 seems to have another upgrade over the C450, and that is the exhaust. I was browsing AMG's corporate site and found this photo of the interior of the C43 coupe, and you can clearly see there's a exhaust button on the centre console, just like in the C63, suggesting the exhaust will be more aggressive. Hmmm.... http://www.mercedes-amg.com/webspeci...?lang=eng#home

I feel like that's still a long shot.
1. Coupe news is hitting first
2. Things are not always created equal between Europe and America
I just noticed to day that the "rumble" in Sport + when getting off the throttle is gone... Still blip on down shift but no more over run. Odd, yes? Car seems to run fine.
I do not often engage +, typically I am commuting. I took it in today for a spring detail and noticed. Tried several times including setting the personal to sport +.
Let me know if you have any ideas. Guess I will need to take to the dealer though I think they will look at me like I am nuts.
During my 12 hour couch session recovering from last night, I came across this pic of an S class. Best pic I've been able to find to project how the Steel Grey and Saddle Brown will pair. Me likey, though I'd guess it's not for everyone.

that looks more gray than steel gray, maybe that is selenite because isn't steel gray more blue?
Not sure, I think it's Steel Grey (the other pictures, link below) it looks like it...but they grey's are hard to tell apart sometimes as they all look a slight bit different in different lighting.
edit: It doesn't help that I'm red/green color blind, so my ability to differentiate between shades of colors is pretty *****ty sometimes, haha. That is probably Selenite, Steel Grey looks really dark in some pics I've seen and then very normal grey is others, with various light.
