As mentioned, ventilated seats do not appear to be available at all, in any package on the C450. The Interior Package that it came bundled with was changed from option code 318 to 317 and the price dropped to $2150 because the vented seats were dropped. No idea if this is an early-build issue or a permanent change.
Yes it's the same. The online configurator has numerous errors in pricing and options. You can't rely on it. It looks like they loaded some very early information (like from July) but the order guides have had significant changes since then.
In fact if you look closely at MBUSA configurator, the absence of cooled seats is also a myth. If you order leather, vented and heated seats are standard just as before, no surprise since its the same seat with slightly modified stitching. I didn't check the AMG ones since Im trying to compare to the C400. Plus Ive always thought its utterly stupid to pay more for seats that are meant for a 4 point harness but don't have one! Look ma' I have these little holes here for show! Moreover they lose their headrest adjustment which I like.
As far as the brakes there are no AMG calipers anywhere. Its the exact same caliper as previously with slightly bigger discs (from pic).
Finally I did the configurator again and came up with 67K AGAIN. I think the difference is simply adding the Mbrace middle plan, or the configurator is F8cked up.
I really wanted the black mirrors on my Polar White configuration. If they aren't being built this way for the US, I would strongly consider adding the carbon fiber package. I wish we could get a clear answer on whether or not there are errors in the configurator or this is indeed the way the car is being built for the states.
The MBUSA site identifies the side mirrors and side window trim finished in black as Gloss Black exterior accents in the Design Features section... so I think we are good there:
I've been a little concerned about the Night Package situation since the USA configurator went live. First off, as noticed previously in this thread the car pic in the configurator no longer includes all-black mirrors. The mirrors are body-colored now. I sent a note to my dealer to ask if this is a change to the US release of the C450 and he blew off the answer (answered some other questions I asked but ignored the Night Package question).
The US configurator is terrible, again I wouldn't rely on it. If you're willing to wait a few days or so for your answer, several members in this thread will be getting their cars and can tell you for sure. I have the Night Package on mine and expect it next week.

Since my build doesn't go into production until November I've been spending way too much time second-guessing my choices. Currently I have a Polar White C450 on order with black/red accent leather and AMG performance seats. Today I was feeling the itch to do something different than black in the interior and I'm considering dropping the AMG seats and going with designo Saddle Brown instead. Opinions?

The build in front of mine, was released to carrier today... should see it today or tomorrow. I would think that everything that was "on-hold" should be in route now.

The 318 package with ventilated seats is no longer available. It's now the 317, they dropped ventilated seats.
Those who ordered the surround view cams, shipments will be delayed minimum a week, but realistically two weeks or more. I know this because both surround view cameras and ventilated seats were a part of my build.

I noticed on the US configuration, they removed the description of ventilated seats from the leather/interior package. The price is still the same, and when clicking on the details for heated seats, the picture still describes the ventilated seats, but I'm guessing the text removal is as good an indication as any that ventilated seats aren't going to be available any time soon.

Congrats!! Great configuration, enjoy! I picked up my BMW on European Delivery 2 years ago almost to the day, and it was similarly pouring rain outside the delivery center. Hope you get a trip up to Germany to open it up after the break-in period!
