Error Msg: Check Left Mirror Turn Signal
Today I got my first error message (Check left mirror turn signal). When I activated the left turn signal it was signalling at twice the normal pace. I was in my way to a restaurant, so I didn't actually check the light.
After lunch everything was back to normal. I went and played golf and then drove home and still no message and the signal was operating normal as was the light in the left mirror.
Worth a trip to the dealer, or wait and see if it happens again?
I joked with my golfing buddy that these cars have a tendency to fix themselves for minor issues. He said I have short and should have it checked.

My door LED was dead for over a month. Then, when I opened the door, it started blinking rapidly and has worked fine ever since.
I wouldn't do anything unless it malfunctions again. The bulb is obviously good, so it was just a bad contact or ground ... which may have cleared by itself.

It will be a high resistance connection, with LEDs these tend to be where the circuit board is plugged into the lamp socket. They can be a bit hit and miss - so it may never happen again, or it will increase in frequency if the "lamp" needs re-seating or replacing.
Annoying, but not a big issue.

If the light was blinking fast, that means that the other on the same side is not working. E.g. If the front is blinking fast then check the rear, it is probably not working.
If both on the same side blink fast then you have a short somewhere.
I would not follow the advice about not worrying about it unless it happens again. Especially if your car is still under warranty!

It is blinking twice as fast and I have checked the mirror led and front and rear indicators and all are working.
Whilst writing this message I left the indicator on (blinking at twice the rate) and after about 2 mins it resumed back to normal pace.
Very odd.
Any thoughts .

check left mirror turn signal
Just picked up my 2019 SL 450 after waiting (very patiently) 2 months since dropping it off in Nice, France (European Delivery). The error message came up as soon as I started the car. Anxious to get away I started off. The problem is only with the driver's side front turn signal; it blinks twice as fast, i.e. 6 blinks as opposed to 3. Will call the dealer tomorrow for an appointment.
