C400...Discontinued? I want to wait until June!!!

I currently have a Mercedes GL, and the lease is up at the end of June. My wife, my kids and I are moving from the City to the Burbs over the summer, necessitating the need to go from one car to two....so I think I am going to turn in the GL and get a C400 for me an X5 for her.

Question: Will the C400 still be around at that time? Are they still being made? My dealer has a Steel Gray C400 which is the color I want and it has the equipment I want. But...truth be told, I don't need it until June/July.

Dilemma....I have a pull-Forward offer from Mercedes, but If I use it now to Jump on a C400, I need to get an X5 at the same time so I have a car that I can tote the kids around in. Why get 2 cars before I need two cars????

Finally...I don't want to wait for the c450, because i'm thinking it'll be about 10k more.

WHAT DO I DO???

OFFER:

C400 MSRP 54955
SELLING PRICE 48,000 (LEASE BASED ON THIS)

C300
I'd either A) Get a C300 which from my test drives is a zippier more fun car than the C400 was.

Or B) Wait for the C450 and test drive for yourself. Numbers might not be as bad as you think, and the ride probably better than the C400 was.

Mercedes Benz has discotinued production of the C400. Whatever dealerships have now is it. We currently only have 2 left.

I'm sure that the C450 will be a better handling and performing car than the C400, but I doubt the ride comfort will be as good as a C400 with AIRMATIC.

OP could order a C300 with airmatic, same ride as C400

2015 C400
I would have to disagree with the c300 being a more funner car tbh. I test drove both and kept both for a bit. Definitely the C400 is a totally different animal and it was well worth the extra dough in my opinion. I decided to go with the c400. I had the ride comfort when i wanted, but when i wanted to punch it, oh boy does it fly..

The C450 is expected to be priced similarly to the C400. So the difference wont be $10k, it will be more like 2-3k more than the C400.
However, the discount may not be as good as the C400.

True, discounts always were high on C400. The new splits on AWD, and other changes should make C450 a better drive if better acceleration is the kind of performance you want.

I can't wait to try the C450. I'm keeping my C400 this year, but in 2016, I'll make a decision to either get a C450 or the new E Class.
