I had no idea you could order without the touchpad?
i thought the touchpad was standard equipment?
Is this possible in other countries, or just Norway.

I don't think it's possible. Photoshop maybe? Where is the picture from?

It is possible (at least in Poland but I think the same is in other countries). If you buy basic Audio 20 (without navi) then you don’t have touchpad (and as I think no CD player).
On my price list Audio 20 CD (with touchpad) has SA 522.

That picture looks very odd. The console looks bigger than the seats ... definitely larger than it actually is. It could be an unusual perspective, but it looks more like a manipulated photo to me.

I have never seen any W205 made without the touchpad ... certainly not in any of the US builds. I've also never seen any review of the car, or picture of the car, that did not have the touchpad as an integral part of the console.

Over here (The Netherlands) the standard interior in the configurator also shows no touchpad. So it is real. The US configurator always shows the touchpad however.

I've seen pictures of a standard transmission C-Class (not available in the US) without a touch pad. These are the first pictures of an automatic without a touchpad. Interesting. If given the choice, I would opt for the touchpad. I use both the dial and the touchpad often.

Yeah, I have the audio 20 on my CLA (no touchpad), looking forward to the touchpad, nothing special about the dial.

It is possible in Italy, but you have to buy the very basic version (here it is called Business) and also doesn't have rain and light sensors, 2 zones climate and alloy wheels.

Eh, have you used the touchpad yet? I'd personally like a way to turn it off.
