I'd normally say RTFM but in the mercs case the manual is a bit too hard to locate specifics within. I love this car but the way they approach the tech and documentation is just plain odd.

They could learn a lot from BMW in this.
On my BMW, in order to have the passenger side mirror tilt in reverse, the mirror button has to be pointing at the.....wait for it.....drivers side mirror.. So they have their quirks too
Of course you can turn it off in Vehicle settings/Switching the belt adjustment function on/off
Yeah I was aware that I could turn it off in the settings... was more a comment relating to how brutally forceful it is.. my BMW it was ever so soft hahaha

Lol....I've had a few passengers audibly gasp, and a couple scream, when they first experience the Mercedes Heimlich manouver
1) You can adjust the volume of the Nav/Linguatronic woman (independent of the ICE) with the steering wheel volume buttons. You have to adjust the volume whilst she's speaking.
2). (I'm sure everyone knows this but just in case)... As with most German cars, you can get three 'pips' of the indicator by just pressing the stalk down lightly and releasing. Useful for overtaking.
3. The fuel gauge has an arrow to remind you which side to fill up (useful if you drive multiple cars).

Lol I love the little "hug" my Benz gives me when I get in- it doesn't seem that strong to me..

What are three 'pips' of the indicator'? What stalk? Sorry, confused from the US.
Never mind, you're talking about the turn signal and its stalk.
When my seat belt tightens up it feels just fine ... no need for drama. Passengers have been known to say "that's cool" but no gasping or screaming.
Don't get me wrong...I actually like getting the hug when I set off in the car but I have had a couple of graspers and screamers, it can be pretty surprising the first time.
That sounds really wrong

Come to a stop. Press hard on brake to engage brake hold assist. Turn off car, take foot off brake, open door, walk away. Car will automatically engage parking brake and 'Park'
