Which AMG Wheels? 5 Spoke vs Multispoke?
So I have the 17" Wheels and could not get the sports package when I got the car.
Im looking to upgrade but cant decide between AMG 5 spoke and Multispoke.
Cost is also a small problem, the multispokes seem to be going for much more than 5 spoke on ebay.
What do you guys think?

I was really dissappointed when I first noticed the choice of entry level sport package wheel, IMO its an pretty old design and very common as a replica, I wanted to see something new with the all new 205 model.
Went with the optional 19" because of this, looks a lot more fresh and classy and not like a cheap knock off.

I never initially liked the 19" AMG Multi-spoke wheels until I saw them in the bi-colour we get in Australia. Love them on my car. IMO the 5 spoke do look quite dated now.

I love the look of the 19s - but they are an awful lot of hard work to keep clean, in comparison to the 5 spokers (ie when washing).
So, if I am going by looks, I'd say 19s, if I am going by practicality, I would go with the 18s....

I have the 19" multispoke with AirMatic on my S205, the ride is actually very good, with only very harsh surfaces being transmitted into the car. Hitting a 1" high manhole cover at speed results in a thump but not a crash or bang for example. The car looks so much nicer with the larger wheel and having cleaned and sealed them this weekend, they're actually not that hard to wash. I use ' wheel woolies ' which take perhaps 30 seconds tops to clean each wheel.

Don't find them too hard to clean at all, ALTHOUGH... what is a wheel woolies ... I might need to have one

IMO the 19" AMG wheels gives the C300 that extra "Pop" compared to the dated looking 18" 5 star wheels.
With that said, I'm still on the fence as what to do come Winter...remove the Summer tires and slap on some 19" A/S Pirelli Cinturato RFTs (and just leaving them on)...or buy a takeoff set of the stock 18" wheels & A/S RFT tires.

I'm not a fan of taking off and on tyres per season, too much wear on the rims. I'll be getting some aftermarket 18" winters on mine come the end of this year.

I wanted the 19s but didn't want to have to buy a winter wheel and tire set. So I went with the 18s and I'm actually quite pleased with them. They also will be much easier to keep clean.

I prefer the 19's !!! they look like the W222 Wheels! but the 5 Spokes give the car a nice European sport sedan look
19s got my vote lol hard choice!

The 18's were my first choice as it was, but after seeing the 19's in person I was torn, as they look fantastic. In the end though, I stuck with the 18's as summer rubber just wasn't worth the hassle for me.

Voting for the 19", I think pictures don't do the wheel justice. Granted I've never driven a car with the 19" wheel so I don't know how much it changes the ride, but if I special ordered my car vs selecting one on the lot I definitely would have gone with the 19".

Love how the five spoke gives a better look at the caliper

I spec'd the 18in 5 spoke because I really didn't want to clean the 19s.
In an ideal world I'd have a 20in version of the 5-spokes.

I love the 5 spokes but the car just looks nicer with the multi spokes.... I was dead set on the 5 spokes but when you see two cars side by side the one with the 19s appears to be an entirely different class of car to me.

Wow didnt expect this many responses. Thanks for the input guys!
I dont have the sport package or the suspension, was just thinking wouldnt the 5 spoke wheels look weird without the moldings and the suspension compared to the multipoke wheels?

The show car C400 that MB brought to all the auto shows last year was white with 19 inch multi spoke black with polished surface wheels. I think that shows what MB thinks looks the best and will help sell the car.
