Heated Steering Wheel finally

Quote from Press Release:
Enhanced equipment and appointments
The new C-Class models can be fitted if required with such options as a head-up display, a touchpad and a wide range of intelligent driver assistance systems. Mercedes-Benz has also very recently extended the range of equipment and appointment options, which now include a heated steering wheel and a revised choice of trims.
My current 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland is the first vehicle that I've owned that has a heated steering wheel, and I love it since I don't like wearing gloves when I drive. In addition, when I remote start my Jeep in the Winter, the heat, heated drivers seat AND heated steering wheel all come on too (below 37 degrees F)...so the vehicle is all warm and cozy by the time I get in it. A remote start in the Summer turns on the A/C and ventilated driver's seat as well.
Too bad the V6 transmissions are so crappy.

Now for Mercs it should be the same or similar, since the heating unit is without a question in the steering wheel, so in my opinion it may be a simple swap.

what worries me is that this information cannot be found on the MBUSA media website so that option might be euro only?

Dear sir,
thanks for your inquiry.
The Heated Steering Wheel – amongst some other new options – will be available with MY16 only on the C-Class Sedan in the United States and Canada.
In case of further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards,
1. Increased prices. Most options seem to be the same price, though the Driving Assistance Pack has gone up by £200. It's also listed twice in the options area for some reason! The base car prices have gone up as well, of course.
2. You can no longer add the Burmester or Comand Online options separately - if you do, it tells you that you need to add the rest of the Premium Plus pack as well. This conflicts with what the brochure says - the PDF on the MB UK web site still lists them as being available separately (p43). Strangely, the sunroof is still available as a stand-alone option. The configurators in Ireland, France and Germany allow you to add Comand and Burmester without the rest of the PPlusP.
This would be an issue for me; the memory pack, ambient lighting and keyless-go options don't hold any attraction at all, but the sunroof could be a deal breaker. I really don't want it at all: I wouldn't use it and prefer the looks of the car with a conventional roof.
I have sent a query to MB UK customer service, but they haven't got back to me yet. I very much want my next car to be a C Class, but having to have four out of six options from the Premium Plus Pack that I don't want (to varying degrees) may make me reconsider.
