I ordered last week; black estate with privacy glass, 18's (because we also need a tow bar), 360 degree cameras and finally, silk beige interior. Unfortunately, when I spec'd it on the lease company website, I selected the black seats by mistake. We called them and they advised that they would cancel at their end and we should just reorder.
The price came through £115 per month higher!
When I picked myself up off the floor, we contacted them again. They reinstated the original order at the lower price and changed the order with the dealer. Phew, that was a close one!
Delivery estimated 17th Feb.......

XC90, waiting for my C350e
Sad news for me in that the lease company came back to me with increased costs today, £70+ per month dearer, only explanation was the car prices have changed. Means I'm cancelling the order for the C350e with a heavy heart and going to my second choice hybrid Golf GTE, which is around £120-130 per month cheaper.
I know its no C Class.... but not worth additional £5000 over 3 years

How about this for clarity from Merc UK Customer Service of the current situation regarding delivery of the C350e !
My question - Would you please tell me what the current official line is with regards to UK delivery of the C Class C350e Plug In Hybrid. There are reports that there are manufacturing difficulties and so no cars will be delivered to the UK before Oct.
Their response - I have forwarded your question on the delivery time of the C-Class C350 Plug In Hybrid to my colleagues in our technical department. They have advised that a multitude of reasons are factored into the delivery date of each vehicle. Therefore they have advised that the Retailer you have arranged to purchase the vehicle from will have the most up to date information on the expected delivery date of your vehicle.

Ordered 2 x c350e 3rd week of May
I joke with our fleet manager every day asking when the cars will arrive.
When he ordered them he was told 'end of the year'
as they are leased cars, any ideas as to who we can chase as I don't know which dealership it is coming from.
We are using Albion vehicle contracts

Official delay
Instead of picking up the new C350e this week, Mercedes has given me a loan car (CLA 220 CDI) for "until your car is delivered". That date seems to be in October now, but even they are not confident with that.
I tried to grill them a bit more, but they don't know anything. I ordered mine on March 8.

Ordered mine on 19th June, just been given delivery date to dealer of 22nd January (2016 I assume!). Initially I was told that MB were not taking any more orders, but then came back and order was completed, along with application to Gov for the £5k grant. Two days later the Government announced grants would only be honoured if already made and cars delivered within 9 months - phew that was cutting it close!

I've been chasing my c300hybrid today .... Further delays !!!!!!
When I complained they pretty much said ... Well at least you haven't ordered a c350e .... Otherwise you'd be looking at 2016 ....

Sorry they didn't say about existing orders in the system ..... But the indication was that deliveries wouldn't start in the UK until 2016 ....
The fact that they didn't even want an order for a c350e suggests they either don't know, don't want the grief or would rather you ordered something else!

i get you, fact is a dealer only gets the cash flow once the day is delivered.. so its in their interest to get you into something else i guess...

C350e delivery
I ordered my C350e on 15th of April 2015, after being messed about by one leasing company who quoted and they would not standby the quoted price. We gave the order to a second lease company, who gave us an estimated delivery date of September 2015.
The latest news from the lease car company is the the car will be delivered on 4 December 2015. They inform me that my car will be one of the first C350e built, as MB production of this model does not start until September.
Has anyone had a C350e order delays? Has anyone had formal confirmation of the final true delivery date?

Delivery Update
Hi guys, I said I'd keep you guys updated on delivery of my C350e. Vehicle was originally in March through Daimler Finance and originally expected in September. Just had an update from Daimler Finance today, vehicle is due into UK port 4th week of August, delivery on a 65 plate 1 week later. they usually come straight to us from the port instead of going via the dealership so looks like they have pretty much met their expectations for me.
Can't wait to send this E-class back and have my BIK drop from £300+ to about £70 ... :-)

Heard from our lease company that they are expecting our cars to arrive 9th December.
would expect that we would take delivery a couple of days later.
They were ordered early may.

Last week I asked my Company to order a 350e Estate (Brilliant Blue, no extras) through Lex Autoleasing. Lex have actually agreed a lease price for the vehicle with my Company, so there will be an order placed in the next couple of weeks, once my HR dept gets into gear. Popped into MB Newcastle upon Tyne and was advised that there will probably be 9 months wait before delivery!
