My company placed an order with the dealer on Friday for a C350e in blue with premium pack.

Being told that delivery could be six months due to completely unprecedented demand, understandable I suppose given the company car tax benefits.

I've been told that the sales manager from the dealer is trying to pull a few strings so fingers crossed so still waiting for absolute confirmation of delivery.

I've also said I'm not too worried about the colour given that I'm like a kid waiting for his Christmas present to arrive, well hopefully will be here sooner than that

Well I've joined the que and ordered on 14/5/15 a c350e prem plus in Cavansite Blue. Opted for the 18 inch alloys and LED headlight system. Selected Artico beige as I have had black for while now and fancied a change.

Great forum and thanks for sharing all knowledge and info.

After originally quoting projected lead times my dealer managed to wangle a vehicle from another in his group and I've been promised delivery for September.

Not heard anything for a couple of weeks now though and I'm bloody frightened to ask if all is going to schedule.

You read so many stories regarding engine issues etc.

Newbiee signing in as well.

Ordered a C350e estate in black with black interior, 18" wheels, Intelligent lights, privacy glass and tow bar. Yes there is a BIK hike over the 17" wheels, but for me it is not the £50ish more but rather the £200 a month saving over the Audi Q3. Besides, even at an average of 11% over the next 3 years what else is there to chose?
Lastly, I carry bikes on a tow bar mounted rack, so it was not a difficult decision.

Like everyone else been told Oct ish......, but convinced 2 others here at work to also order the same car.

Dominic. Could you keep us updated as far as delivery is concerned. I am in the same position - deposit paid March, confirmed order saying "non binding delivery" 1st Sept. My dealer has been a nightmare so I really don't trust the date so would really appreciate knowing if you start to get indicators of 'slippage'.

I ordered my C350e in April via our lease company (solid white, Premium Plus + tow bar). Have just received a delivery date of January 2016! IS this correct? Can any dealer do better than this; if so I can get my lease company to order it from them. Otherwise I don't think that I will be able to wait that long because my current vehicle is already 4 years old and done 90K. Please help, I really want a C350e!

PeteMc,
When I was going through leasing companies I was also told 2016, but eventually went through merc UK finance and the dealers corporate unit. Now have quite a lot of communication and while most of it is just nice to have news, the date was and still is oct.

So a few bits of info as updates. MB UK were meeting with the Uk Gov office for Low emission vehicles recently to make sure that the £5k was still going to be offered. Official line is that the grant will be available for 9 more months. That is not to say that it will then finish, but not yet confirmed. Remember these cars are only level 3 out of 3 levels in the low emissions cars so they could tighten the reins and drop the level 3 cars.

Also MBUk confirmed only 650 of this power plant/engine will come into the Uk this year. I have no idea how many are on order through the dealer network.

Had a call from my dealer today saying that my delivery was pushed back from August the 8th to end of September, early October

Still on the bright side I added a few extras, leather, 360 degree camera and upgraded from premium to premium plus.

Not sure if I actually believe any delivery promise but I did see the official paperwork quoting estimated delivery as 8th August so one can live in hope that it will arrive in September.

Just been told delivery has now slipped to 1st week in December. Hope this won't mean a gradual slip to 2016 delivery...

Yeah they emailed, though I do have access to the portal too. They've put it down as a factory delay due to parts shortage..

Getting a little discouraged here. C350e Est. ordered in March, deposit paid specification sorted - being a true Yorkshireman need to stay below 50 CO2 emissions, so stayed away from premium packages (which ups CO2 above 50 due to weight of panoramic roof requiring 18inch alloys I am told) but managed to specify leather, active assist, Burmeister, command plus a few bits and bobs. Anyway the delivery has gradually gone back from June/July to July/August etc. etc. to Oct/Nov. However, I now can't have my ordered extras anymore - to get command and Burmeister I have to specify premium or premium plus which isn't a problem other than my increased personal tax bill, not happy! I appreciate we (UK) are a tiny market to MB but come on wake up MB just do the packages with a panoramic roof delete, make us Yorkshire, Welsh and Scottish men happy, show some un-Germanic flexibility and teutonic attention detail (tax detail).
Dismayed of Yorkshire.

It's worse than that. If you go over the 50g/km emission with 18" wheels you lose the £5k Government Grant. The new criteria for 50g/km to 75g/km requires an electric range of 20 miles and the C350e is only 19 ! On other forums people are saying the lease cost has increased on the estate with the packs by £ 100 / month.

I paid my deposit in March, confirmed and binding order in May with virtually all options. Checked with dealer last week and he says delivery to UK port is still being given as 26th August although he admits it is a little early to rely on this.

I ordered my c350e saloon premium plus in tenorite grey in April. Last months I was told by my lease company to fill that transport for London form so the dealer can apply for the grand. I have ordered 18 inch wheels witch brings emission to 51 gram. It is not the that you lose the 5k grant with 51g emission. Not there is any 20 mile requirement. Company tax bill goes up that's true. I was told that dilevery is in mid September first. Got a e mail from lease company to confirm my specification 3 weeks back. On the order form of the dealer said expected dilevery early November. Since last two weeks getting e mail from lease company for a early November delivery and allowing them 5 days to prepare the car. Seems like November is when the lot coming as that's the time frame given to lot of people waiting for their order
