Check the silver knobs on the air vents on the dash. The one on the right of the steering wheel on my car rattles/vibrates every now and again. At first I thought it was the Burmester speaker, but it's the vent knob. Not loud but very irritating. Tracked it down by individually pressing/holding everything on the dash that could have been the culprit.

Haha thanks yeah tried all of that this morning... its weird, I pushed in on the centre of the dash above the CD slot and the rattle stopped (I was applying hard pressure). That just appeared to make the rattle move towards the dash in front of me...

The w205 has only been out less than a year, if you're out of warranty you're posting in the wrong section (you don't have a w205)!

If it's out of warranty it would completely depend upon how nice the dealership wants to be with regards for doing it for free. I would think that most likely they would charge though.
