W205 Sport Trim - Black or White ?
Hello,
I know this is a personal pref... but I have ordered a White W205 Saloon, (C350e) but currently not sure I have made the right choice between White or Black....
My thoughts are - White seems to look a bit more "sporty" where Black seems to show more "class", but highlights the chrome overload on the car.
I like both front ends of each car in either colour, its just the rear i think....
Im going for the premium pack so will have the black pano roof in Sport spec.
Would welcome your thoughts over what you would choose and why.
Couple of examples photo below... (note - car will be a MY16 so the chrome trim in the front bumper and rear bumper wont be present)
If it was Black or White only... which one ?
Thanks

I think both look great, but if you're getting the sport package and the panoramic sunroof then the white would have a few details you'd miss over the black. There is the contrast of the black roof over the white car which adds some visual impact, and the sport package has the painted rear diffuser that would blend in with the trim if the car was black. Black would definitely be the more low key choice, white would be a bit more attention grabbing. I went with white myself and I have both sport package and the panoramic sunroof, no regrets here.

Thanks all for the opinions so far :-)
omg516, thanks - some very valid points there, I had thought about the pano rook contrast but not thought of the rear defuser contrast too, plus the front bumper grills too.
Cheers

I love the Black - when it is immaculately clean... One puddle and you'll need to start again.
The White really does look sportier, for some reason and when team up with the Pano Roof really adds something to the car.
Ultimately, you need to be really honest with yourself on what you prefer to see, out on your driveway.

I'm with you. Black shows every little swirl & scratch...never again.
I also would never opt for that style of wheel either...that has got to be one of the ugliest wheels Mercedes Benz has ever come out with. Reminds me of something a Chevy would have on it.

While playing the company car tax game need to go for 17's due to tax reasons... could upgrade to 18's but the price in tax goes up a lot more.

I've seen more white ones than black on the road. I've own both black and white cars and each as there pros and cons. Black is very nice when clean and the chrome goes well. I don't think the chrome bits go well with white, but with panoramic roof looks sporty.
If i had to choose between the 2 colours i would go for Black only because i like keep my car clean all times.

My last 3 cars were all black and I don't think I will ever own another.
My c300 sport is in polar white and IMHO the white and the tenorite were the only colours that really looked 'good' ..... My own opinion of course.
White with pano roof is just stunning. LOVE mine.
Enjoy!

I have always owned white cars in my life. For a change I bought a black W205 with pano roof and I feel I made a mistake. The contrast roof on the white looks really good. This was THE CAR that I should have got in white. Go for white !! And BLACK is a PITA to maintain.

I will echo the others - if you're a perfectionist, black will drive you mad. Dust, swirls, scratches and dirt all stand out, even seconds after a wash. White hides scratches and swirls quite well, and also some levels of dirt.

I personally love the dark grey metallic colour.
Where I live, a white colour would just highlight the dirt especially during the winter months. That's why I've been tempted away from the white, but the white one definitely looks nicer than the black one IMO.
