tints for c300?
I recently received my 2015 C300 and I'm planning on tinting all four windows + the back windshield. Do you think tinting the side windows require taking off the panels? I've heard some people have rattling problems after taking off the panels.

I had mine done w/ ceramic 35% all around and they didn't take the rear door panels off. Love the look!

The newer tints' heat rejection doesn't really require as dark of tint as even 5 years ago. A 50 will do about as good as 35, but different darkening/privacy.
My reccomendation is don't go ultra cheap and use a really good installer. If in FL I could hook u up, lots of competitive ones here.

Solar Soutions in Bedford, MA is the BOMB when it comes to tinting...I've taken all my past vehicles there for years.
This is what 35% looked like on my old 2012 Subaru STI...

Wow. That looks pretty damn good. But I still don't know if I should do 35% all around or 50% front and 35% rear. What do you guys think? The law here in NY requires 70% light to pass through I'm not sure how often I'll get pulled over for 35's up front.

J.lu11. I'd stick closest to legal that you'll be happy with, not just if don't get caught issue, but if in incident/accident and obviously way off, may be brought up in suit.

I have always had 20% tint and I've never been pulled over for it.
Do 35, 50 is not worth it.

My opinion from a bad past experience, don't go over legal. The issue isn't police catching you or the fines. My insurance denied a claim and I had to pay a settlement out of pocket 9 years ago, the court garnished my wages for a minor rear end accident, admittedly my fault but unrelated to illegal tint on sides of window. It provided a scapegoat for insurance to pay $0.
