jerk push or jolt in Automatic Transmission between 2nd and 3rd Gear
I find it a bit weird that the W205 is having the same problems, I was under the impressions that they had done some work on the auto?
I'm waiting for the C205, cant say i like these news.
I also think after 6/7 gears you're heading down the path of ever diminishing returns.
I've 2016 C180 with the same problem, harsh transmission shift between 2nd and 3rd gear shifts and sometimes between 1st and 2nd gear shifts.
I've reported the issue starting almost 1000 km odometer, took my car to the delear who has confirmed that this isn't normal and we will check your issue
1- they performed software update and the problem exists.
2- they have changed the body valve and no help.
3- they have completely changed the transmission with a brand new one and the problem still exists.
finally they told me this is the characteristic of your car and all cars in this model are the same as per the manufacturer's feedback.
I don't know what actually should I do?
any help?

I had a transmission reflash earlier this year, and the tranny did shift smoother for a while after, but recently I've noticed the rough shifts around 2nd gear are happening again. I'm wondering if the dealership only performed a reset instead.
My car goes in for it's first "A" service this coming Friday, and I will definitely be mentioning this.
I have just bought a used MB W212 with automatic transmission(7g Tronic) . I have to mention this is my first automatic car I drive (and also my first MB - coming from an 2004 Ford Focus).
I'm not sure if this is a problem with the transmission but I notice that shifting from 1st ->2'nd -> 3'rd gear, I get the sensation that the car is slightly braking(don;t know if this is the definition of jerk push or jolt). Changing from 3'rd to forth and so on is smoothly.
I also noticed that sometimes , when the car is stationary , when changing from drive to reverse /neutral I get a very small shock - I noticed this because is is not always happening.
The car has 73.000 miles and 4 years old. Should I worry about this - send it to the service?
Thank you so much for your advice

Indeed it is annoying and I have been to the service with the car. They changed the transmission oil and filter and the jerk/jolt diminished 95%. It is like a new car.. The car has 118000 km on-board, so 7000 km earlier than the recommended 125000 km limit. I didn'the think that a oil change can make such a big difference...

I would have never expected an oil change to make that much a difference either. I'm almost certain that the main issue is electronic/electrical. Yet if an oil change worked for you than that's great!
should i do another change of the fluid? perhaps the level of ATF fluid is not correct??
