Tires are too BIG!

I knew I would be pushing it but I wanted to try anyway. In case anyone is wondering, 285/30/20 Rear (10" rim) and 245/35/20 front (9") rim will not work. The rims are ok, the tires are not. The car is lowered. This is what I got.... I am now waiting to put a set of 265/30/20 and 235/35/20. Les Schwab tells me they cant find a 275/25/20 Rear and 235/30/20 front?

285/25/20 is more common and will work fine if you have correct offsets

275/25/20 is available, I had Dunlop on my 204 and I know Nitto have them in the US.

Thanks Vic, I just had him order the Nitto. I hope it is a good tire. I guess that tire is more commonly sold by their competitors...

Factory ordered 2012 MB C350 w/Dynamic Handling Package
Thanks OP. I'm sure anyone who gets + size tires will look at this thread in the future. HOWEVER, before you forget, please document your offset, since you are only reporting 4/5 of the required information.

Did you stay with those Niche wheels? I like those but have heard the black chrome chips. Any finalized pics for us?

It chipped pretty bad on my front rims. They just replaced them last week so they are brand new. The rear have held up well.

I'm guessing you did the 20" 8.5 and 9.5 widths? What tires did you end up using which fit?

Would love to see pics of the car with those wheels !

Is this a c400 or c450?

What tires for stock 18

Hey, i would like to know how large i can go on tires for my stock 18 five spoke rims for rear. It's 245/40 now, wonder if 265 or 275 would fit without problems.

your info doesnt help at all if any, you have a 20x10 with what offset ? I am pretty sure that 285/30/20 is doable but with the correct offset if not you will rub just like you are right now..

The overall diameter with the 19s Rear 255/35/19 is 26.2 and the 285/30/20 is 26.73 so no mayor difference on height

Stock rim specs 19x8.5 et 52 so a 20x10 with a 45-50 offset should work just fine

Hi All,

Before making similar mistake, can anybody tell me if i can fit 275/35R18 on my stock sport package rims A2054011200 which are 8.5" width rear, ET 49.

Would you recommend this setup ?

Thanks
