Car in a Mercedes Certified Collision Center for almost 2 months
Anybody has any ideas on what I should do?

the more you show face, the more they wont want to deal with you. again at this point anything would help im sure.
as far as the law is concerned im not to sure, maybe file something with the BBB?
Best of luck!

The estimate is over $10,000
for a "new" suspension
new bumper (I don't get why they don't just replace the damaged part instead of the whole bumper/fender)
new headlight (I don't think there's anything wrong with it)
new headlight housing
I don't know where the $10,000 estimate came from.

I guess that the collision center is just taking advantage of the insurance money and keep sucking more money out of me and the insurance.
You can see in my pics that the car was barely hit to the front left side at a low speed. nothing substantial, but the wheel was forced back in when it was hit, which impacted the suspension and made the car inoperable. The car was drifting on the way back home
and everyone on the highway was scared so they drove really slow and kept their distance
I am not sure what I should do

I just want my car back

Imagine if he was using my car the whole time

Insurance estimate $2100, collision center milked it for $8,100.
Replaced fender, replace both rims (each rim is over $1,200), they had to remove the windshield and rear glass to paint a trim piece. First time to pick up I noticed they caused a new scratch. Second time to pick up I found a chip they didn't fix on the door.
They will squeeze every dollar they can out from the insurance company (labor $120+/hr wth)

Did they take the car apart? like everything? would that create future issues or wind noise if they were not properly installed?
I fear that they took my car apart and when they put it back they will not put it correctly, they will just put everything back loosely or carelessly

and how did you get hit by a light pole
? did you not see it? or did it fall on you? Seriously I am really curious what happened?I got hit by a Chinese person and you got hit by a light pole

Taking the car apart certainly could bring up new problems. However I wouldn't know if they are new problems because I only drove the car 50 miles before the accident occurred. Just trying to enjoy the car now.

I had my hazard lights on and was ready to go, my car was sticking to the left a little bit and my wheel was turned to the left. before I started moving I was hit in the front left side of the car (left fender, wheel, rim, suspension, bumper, and light).
I got hit in the wheel and it forced in to the right

after I got hit, the Chinese man kept going
and then stopped. As for me, after I got hit, I was in a shock, that I let go of the brake and the car started moving a little to a left.
The Chinese man told my insurance company that he DID NOT see me and that he was going more than the legal residential speed limit
and then they did some inspections and took pictures and they suddenly made it both our faults and each person's insurance company pays for their insurer
the funny thing was that a couple of minutes before I was hit, I was reflecting back on how I have never been in an accident since I started driving in 2010
I think I jinxed myself because I was immediately hit
